A lovely patina, both literal (the aged bronzy tone) and figurative (the sense of emptiness & time gone forever). As a side note, though, most oenophiles would not consider white zinfandel as belonging to the category “wine” 😊.
Love the white zin comment…so true…great memories shooting (not drinking) at the old trailer with the cracked mirror and empty bottles. The nature preserve towed it away so it no longer exists, sad…it was great subject matter.
